The Swedish Academy will announce the Nobel Prize Laureates in Literature for the years 2018 and 2019 on Thursday 10 October at 1 p.m. (13.00).
The announcement, made by Permanent Secretary Mats Malm, will begin the press briefing. The chair of the Nobel Committee, Academy member Anders Olsson, and other members of the Committee will then present the Nobel Laureates and their works, as well as expounding on the Committee’s work.
There will be an opportunity for questions to the Nobel Committee at the press briefing. The briefing will end at approximately 2 p.m. (14.00).
The announcement and the press briefing will take place at the Swedish Academy premises at the Old Stockholm Stock Exchange Building (Börshuset) and will be in Swedish and English.
Media representatives wishing to attend are asked to submit a request to firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday 7 October at 8 a.m. (08.00) at the latest.
